Quickest and Healthiest Bone Broth Recipe
If you follow me on social media, you'll know that I really try to take care of my skin. I have a daily ritual that I've incorporated into my "self love" time. Going to great lengths to research and find that eternal fountain of youth is my favorite past time. And I believe I've found it...or at least a piece to the puzzle.
Having at least a cup of bone broth everyday has hit the pause button on my aging process. Not only does my skin look incredible, my weight has dropped, my overall energy has improved and my gut issues have done a 180.  My husband and I have been drinking this elixir for almost 3 years now and we both have never looked and felt better. We love our homemade recipe that has taken time to perfect with each new batch we make. However, our grass-fed beef bone broth takes time. 24 hours to be exact. It's well worth the wait. But, in the summer months when the World Series of Poker is going on we need a quicker option
We've tried every brand imaginable. Some were OK and others were inedible. I still cringe thinking of one in particular. Down the drain it quickly went. Along with the money it cost buying it from Whole Foods. Finally, we found one that is perfect in every way. Our bottom pantry is fully stocked with both the beef and chicken. Kettle & Fire is the healthiest bone broth on the market right now. They use grass-fed, pastured raised bones from cattle and chicken. Both being hormone and antibiotic free. All of their ingredients are certified organic too!
The best way to have this, we've found, is to season it to your liking. Today I posted on SnapChat ( @GratifedSoul ) our quick and easy chicken bone broth recipe using the Kettle & Fire.
Turmeric Kettle & Fire Bone Broth Recipe
Here is exactly what I did:

Put on medium heat for 2-3 minutes. 
  • Mince 2-3 cloves of garlic and one sprig of fresh rosemary.
Add to pan. Once garlic begins to brown add the Kettle & Fire Bone Broth.
  • Add 1-2 teaspoons of minced ginger.
  • Add juice from 1/2 organic lemon
  • Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric - or personally I sprinkle a light coating across the whole top of the broth. Turmeric tastes the best with the chicken bone broth over the beef broth. Almost like a delicious Thai soup. 
  • Add Black Pepper & Pink Himalayan Salt to taste. 
  • For today's recipe on snapchat I also added a Lemon Herb seasoning from PerFIcT Lifestyle. The Lemon Herb is Gluten Free, has No Preservatives and No Artificial Flavors, blended Fresh and has No MSG or Fillers. It also tastes incredible! This will be available in Sprouts soon. Bonus about all of this... it fills up a Contigo thermos perfectly with none left over. It's strangely a satisfying feeling.
